The Non-Existent New Equilibrium

I believe a hard thing to accept is that, in reality, we do not achieve a new equilibrium with everything. When we lose people we may not be able to say goodbye, when friends turn against us we are not able to say how we feel, when a relationship ends we are not able to say all the things we hate about what they’ve done, we do not end of good terms, we never fully achieve closure, we never walk off into the sunset and live happily ever after.
It’s a hard thing to acknowledge and accept. No matter the ending of something, don’t see it as an ending, as cliché as this sounds, see it as a new beginning. A chance to start something new.
